Weapon first
A maxed weapon swings the most damage of any single upgrade. Match the boss's gear level — every level under it costs you 4% damage and 4% extra taken.
Blood is a stat
Run Rogue (crit) or Brute (lifesteal) at 90%+ for melee; Scholar for casters; Draculin for Chaos burst. Quality matters as much as type.
Slot your jewels
From the mid-game on, Spell Jewels reshape your abilities — split-shot Corrupted Skull, lifesteal Death Knight, longer Ward. Bring two potions every fight.
Earn before you equip
Every loadout here uses only what you'd already hold when you arrive — a boss's weapon or veil is its reward, not your tool for that fight. Each card lists the gear you'll have in hand.
